Greet Programs


      Greet/Greet All programs are almost identical to each other. They trigger when another character enters the room the mobile is in. The difference between them is: Greet is for characters the mob can see (non-wizi imms, non invis/hidden chars if the mob cannot see these). Greet All is for ALL characters who enter the room. Wizi imms, invis chars, whether or not the mob can "see" them. If you're going to have a mob transfer someone, however, make sure it doesn't try to transfer an immortal or you'll have problems. Syntax for Greet is: addmprog GREET % of times it should happen. Syntax for Greet All is: addmprog GRALL % of times it should happen.

      Example:
      if isimmort $n
      bow $n
      say good day, $n
      else
      if ispc $n
      snicker $n
      endif
      endif

      And that will have the mob bow and greet immortals, but laugh at any mortals who enter the room. This is also kind of a fun program to play around with aligns.. using the "if isgood $n" command, maybe have the mobile either bow to good char's and attack evil, or vise versa.
